English - COVID-19 Recovery: UBI Proposal

We live in difficult times which show no signs of disappearing any time soon. However we can not be passive. We must continue to develop and advance politica solutions to Canada's problems. Your local executive has decided that one lesson from the corona crises is the inadequacy of Canada's social safety net.

We have decided to promote the idea of a Universal Basic Income (UBI). This is an idea that has many variations but at its core is the concept that all Canadian adults should receive a UBI which could replace a long list of social programs. We have prepared a short document to provide more detail of what we have in mind.
